To ensure fairness and transparency, the following conditions apply to all AIA scholarships unless explicitly stated otherwise:
A “new student” means an individual enrolling in an eligible AIA program for the first time, with no prior enrolment history in any AIA program.
Students who have previously withdrawn, deferred, or completed a program at AIA are not considered “new” for scholarship purposes.
Weighted Average Mark (WAM) calculations include all graded units completed at AIA during the relevant study period.
Credit transfer subjects from other institutions are excluded from WAM calculations.
WAM will not be rounded up (e.g., 84.9% does not qualify as 85%).
Scholarships only apply to first-attempt units. Any repeated units will incur full tuition fees.
Scholarships apply to tuition fees only and cannot be refunded, converted to cash, transferred to another student, or deferred to a future study period, except with prior written approval from the Academic Dean.
Any leave of absence, suspension, or withdrawal from the course will result in automatic termination of the scholarship.
Reinstatement is only possible with written approval from the Academic Dean and is not guaranteed.
Students cannot hold more than one AIA scholarship at the same time.
Students receiving full tuition coverage from external scholarships, sponsorships, or government funding are ineligible.
Students may appeal scholarship decisions in writing to the Academic Dean within 10 business days of notification.
General Notes for Students
