Data science is growing rapidly; however, companies are not realizing the full value it can provide. Research has shown that executives often complain that data science does not give them the guidance they seek, while data scientists lament that business decision-makers oversimplify or misunderstand their analyses. In this unit, students will learn to employ critical concepts for effective business communication to a wide range of audiences. Through role-plays, presentations, and report writing using data visualisation techniques learned in the earlier part of the course, this unit prepares students to become effective communicators in a data-driven environment.
