Learning Outcomes
  • ULO1: Describe the nature of project and project management
  • ULO2: Examine the feasibility of a project in terms of resources constraints
  • ULO3: Identify and evaluate risks relating to a project and risk mitigation strategies
  • ULO4: Create a Project Management Document using Microsoft Project
  • ULO5: Summarise and assess the different ways to evaluate the success of a project

This subject introduces students to the concept of project management and the principles behind effective project management. Students will learn about the features of a project work plan and will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop a project management plan. Students will also acquire the ability to evaluate the success of a project in a business environment.
