This unit provides an in-depth exploration of Management Information Systems (MIS) and Business Systems Planning, focusing on the integration of technology and business processes to enhance organisational efficiency and effectiveness. Students will examine key concepts, methodologies, and tools used in the planning, development, implementation, and management of information systems within business environments.

Through case studies, discussions, and practical exercises, students will develop an understanding of how MIS supports various business functions, including finance, marketing, operations, and human resources. Additionally, the unit addresses emerging trends and challenges in MIS, preparing students to effectively leverage information systems to address real-world business needs and opportunities.
