Learning Outcomes
  • ULO1: Conceptualise, design, and plan research projects in the field of Business Analytics.
  • ULO2: Review Literature & establish appropriate research methods applicable to the field of Business Analytics.
  • ULO3: Validate & critically analyse research findings.
  • ULO4: Deliver both oral presentations & written reports on research findings.
  • ULO5: Conduct self & peer assessments for Business Analytics research projects.

This unit allows students to undertake a research project in a specific area of interest within the Business Analytics domain by the means of undertaking a supervised research project.

The research project will involve working on solving real-world problems using advanced analytics methods or technologies and tools with ongoing research supervision and support available throughout.

The unit is aligned with the following course learning outcome (CLO):

• CLO5: Develop specialised skills and knowledge in a chosen area of business analytics through completion of specialisation units and a Research Project.
• CLO6: Utilise business intelligence tools and techniques to generate insights from data and create meaningful reports for decision-making purposes.
• CLO7: Employ advanced data visualisation techniques to communicate complex analytical findings effectively to stakeholders.
