The unit focuses on the application of the various business analysis methods – requirements analysis methods, information gathering and elicitation, Agile, Scrum and Prototyping. It also explores the application of the different business system modelling techniques – business process, structured decision, object-oriented and UML; and design considerations on user experience, interfaces, database and reporting.

Students also explore the challenges in designing distributed systems and cloud systems and learn to work collaboratively with team members to conduct analysis, prepare findings, presentation and report, while applying the above business system analysis methods.
