Learning Outcomes
  • ULO1: Demonstrate course graduate attributes in a coherent, reflective online portfolio of student work.
  • ULO2: Understand and critically reflect on how different elements of their studies in the course relate to and demonstrate the course graduate attributes.
  • ULO3: Engage with peers and mentors to give and receive constructive feedback on portfolio contents, design, and quality, and make ongoing revisions and updates to the online portfolio in response to comments and advice.

In the final trimesters of their course, students will develop an online portfolio to showcase their work, reflect on their learning, and engage with peers to give and receive constructive, critical feedback. The two ePortfolio units (EP 201 and EP 301) are designed to demonstrate how students have achieved the course graduate attributes. EP 201 focuses on student learning through the first trimesters of their course and serves as an opportunity to celebrate collaborative projects, individual achievements, and the learning journey. The EP 201 ePortfolio emphasizes development and reflection (Slepcevic-Zach & Stock, 2018).

EP 301 looks forward and establishes the student’s professional identity and presence, providing a platform for connecting with employers, building networks, and launching their career. The online work is extended and modified to offer an outward-facing presentation ePortfolio (Slepcevic-Zach & Stock, 2018).

In EP 201, students will reflect on how their learning to date has enabled them to become graduates with the following attributes:

  1. Analytical aptitude and appetite

  2. Systems thinking

  3. Digitally ethical, socially responsible, and adaptive 21st-century citizens

  4. Independent and lifelong learners

  5. Strong communicators

  6. Creative and innovative problem solvers
