In this unit, students will learn about the theory of management in a contemporary business environment. Through case studies, role play, and in-class discussions, students will explore how different organizational functions relate to one another and examine key areas of management practice. Specifically, students are expected to apply the analytical skills and knowledge gained from this unit to management problems and teamwork. This unit is essential for preparing students for advanced-level units in the course, particularly those covering critical business transformation processes resulting from a new strategy or a change in strategy.
