This unit introduces the essential techniques and principles of data visualization to reveal the patterns and associations of the data. Students will learn to develop and apply analytical thinking and graphics techniques to facilitate analytical reasoning and decision-making processes. Upon finishing this unit, students will have a solid understanding of the components of data graphics, principles of choosing the right chart, advanced graphics types, interactive dashboard design, and professional reporting with visualization tools. The units are delivered with a variety of business cases and hands-on practices on SAS, a globally widely adopted analytical and AI system.
